55 yo after fleur de lis panniculectomy. Also complicated by wound healing issues resulting in a retracted scar. She opted not to keep her belly button. This surgery only addresses fat outside of the abdominal cavity. Intra-abdominal fat still remains and that can lead to a belly that appears bulging. This procedure was done for medical reasons and is not a cosmetic abdominoplasty.
