This is a 6 month result after bilateral breast reconstruction with DIEP flaps. The right sided breast implant was removed. She has also had nipple reconstruction and nipple tattoo. There is some asymmetry in size between the two sides. If you look at the pre-op photo, you can also see that one side of her abdomen is larger than the other. This translated into breast size asymmetry after the operation. People are seldom symmetrical! She was happy with the result and did not want further corrective surgery.
